This is a short gentle yoga class, including warming the body, practice of pranayama ( breathwork) andmeditation, followed by a gong bath. The yoga is suitble for beginners with plenty of guidance and instructions, no prior experience is required.
This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. This practice will attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind.
Enjoy a truly unique experience with our deep healing sound bath led by Ian; a deep healing relaxation session in the comfort of our new studio. This session gives you a chance to truly relax, we will help you to melt away from the outside world, relax the mind and take you through a totally new kind of experience.
All you have to do is lie in comfort and allow the sound vibrations to flood your body. This experience will allow you to enter a deep meditative dreamlike state, when this state is reached, our body has the ability to heal itself.
The sound and vibrations from the gong help to centre the mind, calm the nervous system, and restore vitality to the body.
Here are a few suggestions for what to bring:
Something comfortable to lie on, such as a yoga mat
A blanket or warm jumper
A pillow for your head
Something to cover your eyes with

IMPORTANT NOTE: Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. If you have any concerns, please speak with your doctor in advance.
